Impact Statement Parkwood has an active volunteer program. As a volunteer, you become an integral member of the Parkwood Community along with the residents and staff. Our intention is to provide each volunteer with a meaningful and rewarding experience that also has great value to the residents of Parkwood.
We appreciate the caring support of our volunteers and always welcome new members. We have many volunteer positions available to suit your interests and availability. You will be provided general orientation as well as training specific to your volunteer placement. You will always have the ongoing support of staff, who are very appreciative of our volunteers.

Description We are looking for a person with experience to assist in managing a growing resident library in our Retirement Suites. The position would involve mainly organizational tasks like sorting, weeding, shelving, of resident donated items. Good communication and interpersonal skills are an asset.

Time Commitment
Duration: 7 - 12 months Anytime Time commitment is flexible and would be negotiated once the volunteer has assessed the needs. Likely once per month
