Description
The Newcomer Outreach Coordinator will have an integral role in providing awareness to communities that could benefit from or contribute to providing our services. The Newcomer Outreach Coordinator will primarily be responsible for representing this community by cultivating relationships with individuals and other organizations while being involved in public relations, volunteer relations and fundraising within the Waterloo Region.
An ideal candidate may identify and share attributes with this specific community.
-Assist in the development and implementation of initiatives that increases visibility within the community
-Maintain a calendar of activities and meetings including community events, workshops, and other communication opportunities
-Schedule meetings in the community and educate others on the importance of community responsibility
-Have regular check-ins with the Outreach Supervisor

Working Conditions: This is a virtual position, requiring in-person tasks/responsibilities on occasion.
