Impact Statement The Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington's mission is to improve the quality of life for those living in our Community with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias, and their care partners, through support, information, advocacy, education and promotion of research.

Description Volunteers will provide a weekly engaging recreational phone call program offering persons with dementia socialization and an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and activities. The Spark Phone call program lasts 8 weeks.

Ideal for: An Individual Age: 18+
|

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: training, orientation and support is provided Working Conditions: Volunteers will provide phone calls from the Alzheimer Society Waterloo office or a location, tbd. Accessibility: Accessible work space
|

Time Commitment
Duration: 1 year or more Weekday - Daytime Phone calls are made during the work week (Monday to Friday) and between 8.30 am and 3.00 pm
|
