Impact Statement
The Royal Medieval Faire is a magical day where the medieval period comes alive in the 21st century. The day is full of games, medieval vendors and performers, including dramatic productions, musicians and swordplay. Every year, the Faire relies on dedicated volunteers to bring the festival alive and attract thousands of patrons for the annual event.

Description
- Liaise with Board of Directors regarding performers linup and budget
- Keep track of budget
- Book performers and coordinate their participation, fees and schedule of performances
- Coordinate all logistical requirements for their performances (chairs/tables, audio needs)
- Keep track of performer bios
- Liaise with graphic designer regarding the event programme
- Act as Stage Manager the day of the event to ensure smooth event proceedings, logistical needs and delivery of their payment the day of the event

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Orientation and training provided by the organization.
Working Conditions: Work on computer and email independently. Occasional meetings. Support and training provided by friendly board member. Full day on-site in the park day expected.

A few hours per month between April and end of September with more hours concentrated around August-September. Commitment required to manage performers the day of the event on September 16, 2023 from 8am to 8pm (includes set up and take down of festival)
Attend board meetings as arranged. Time required throughout the year for the above responsibilities is flexible and within the control of the Performers Coordinator.
