Position: Learn with a Friend Tutor for Chemistry - Math, ESL, and Chemistry Upgrading

Description: Our Learn with a Friend tutors work with adult learners who are upgrading their skills for further education or for employment. We are currently looking for a tutor to work with an adult studying high school level chemistry. In this role, you support the learner as they work towards their learning goals.

Experience in tutoring or teaching is a definite asset. This role requires a time commitment of one and a half to two hours per week at a time that is mutually convenient for you and your learner. To offer a meaningful and helpful experience for the learner, we ask our tutor volunteers to make a minimum 3 month commitment to the role.
Training Details: General orientation to KDCHC and to the Learn with a Friend role is provided. Training is provided online and in person.
Working Conditions: Office setting
Duration: 3 months or less
Timing: Anytime
Time Detail: This role requires 1 to 2 hours per week for at least 3 months.
