Impact Statement Welcome Volunteers! The Baden Road Race is an old tradition with a fresh start and a great fixture in the Wilmot calendar. This is a yearly fundraiser for Aldaview, Interfaith Community Counselling Centre and the Wilmot Family Resource Centre.
Description As part of the registration and food team you will handle registration forms/race packages, volunteer check-in, answer questions at or around 9:30, assist in food preparation (eg. cut bananas), assist with clean-up. All volunteers are provided a volunteer T-shirt to wear during the event and free lunch after. Also provided is specific equipment (eg. registration forms, water cups, food, tools, etc.)
Training Details Volunteers will check in at the VOLUNTEER table inside the arena to meet the team leader. They will be given a shirt and any training they may need. Some volunteers may be re-assigned to other sections throughout the morning.
