Impact Statement
Volunteers walk alongside those in our community who need food, housing, community resources or addiction treatment. Volunteers are vital in ensuring that everyone can belong and thrive.

Description
Our Sunnydale Community Centre is looking for a group of 10-12 volunteers to support revitalizing their garden space! The group will work together alongside staff in building wooden garden boxes, filling them up with soil and placing mulch around them. It's a great opportunity to give back to your local community while soaking up some of the warmer weather alongside your colleagues!


Position Qualifications

Ideal for: A Group
Age: 15+

Area(s) of Interest: Children/Youth, Environment, Maintenance

Skill(s): Team Building, Cultural Awareness/Sensitivity, Constructing, Building


Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: On-site training and guidance provided.
Working Conditions: Outdoors
Transportation: On a bus route


Time Commitment

Duration: Special event
Weekday - Daytime, Weekend - Daytime
Potential dates include:

Saturday, May 4th (rain date would be Sunday, May 5th)
Monday, May 6th (rain date would be Friday, May 10th)
Tuesday, May 7th (rain date would be Friday, May 10th)
