K-W Seniors Day Program is committed to promoting wellness and dignity for older adults with physical, cognitive and complex health challenges through the provision of quality therapeutic care, socially engaging activities, nutrition and caregiver respite.
We are in need of a passionate, dedicated person who values and understands the importance of social engagement and supports for our clients, community connections and resources for our caregivers and collaborative partnerships and integrity in our community.

Description
We are looking for a personable, dynamic individual who has experience and skills in fundraising and marketing. We welcome your enthusiasm to lead our board in organizing fundraising events and community engagement strategies to increase and highlight our organization's value and community profile. Experience in strategic planning would be an added asset as we are currently creating our next 5 year strategic plan.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Board offers orientation to organization's mission, vision and values. Program site visit is encouraged to better understand who we serve and to meet our staff team.
Working Conditions: Meetings are scheduled monthly on the last Tuesday of the month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Special meetings may be required for smaller working groups or on special projects. Meetings are held virtually via Teams platform. Board does not generally meet in July, August or December. Annual General Meeting is held in June.

Weekday - Evening
Last Tuesday of the Month for Board Meetings from 7pm to 9pm. Other meetings may be scheduled for special events or planning
