Description
Greenway-Chaplin is looking for an 18+ volunteer to lead the English Conversation Circle. The English Conversation Circle is a space for community members to gather and improve their English conversational skills.
Responsibilities include:
-Leading the English Conversation Circle at Greenway-Chaplin Community Centre.
-Facilitating conversations between participants
-Encouraging participants to practice their English through conversations with each other.
-Sanitizing and cleaning up spaces as required.
-Other duties as assigned by staff.
Required Skills include:
-Fluency in the English language
-Group facilitation
-Ability to teach and communicate effectively
-Comfortable taking the lead in a group setting
-Flexibility & Adaptability
-Can work independently
-Friendliness and inclusivity to work community members from all experiences and backgrounds
