   About the Position

Take part in Woolwich's own Medieval Festival!

Description
June 1, 2024 (8AM-7PM) Festival Day will be split into two - 4-hour shifts. Volunteers do not pay admission to the park on Festival Day. Shifts will be allocated based on a first come, first serve basis so reserve your position early.

Roles include:
Gates: Volunteers are required to take money and give out wrist bands
Information Booth: Volunteers here will sell RiTH merchandise and be available to direct our guests and answer their questions about the festival.
Archery: Make sure no one sneaks into the park without paying, to watch for people walking into the archery range, and keep the people in line entertained while they wait
Runners: Runners are generally available as required on an on-call basis. They may be used to fill in for other volunteers for bathroom breaks, help vendors as required, bring water to actor stations etc.

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Training available on site.
Working Conditions: This will be taking place outside. Please pack sunscreen, water, and wear weather appropriate attire.
Accessibility: Support volunteers with special needs, Support Newcomers
Transportation: Car required

Duration: 3 months or less

Weekend - Daytime, Weekend - Evening
Morning and afternoon shifts are avaible. You are not required to stay the whole day.
