Description
After an older adult is referred to our Active Living Centre, the volunteer link ambassador will meet with them and complete the client intake form and help to connect the older adult to programs and services to suit their interests.
|

Position Qualifications
Ideal for: An Individual, Student Placement
Age: 16+
COVID-19 Vaccination Required: Yes
Area(s) of Interest: Office Work, Recreation/Sports, Senior Services
Skill(s): Verbal Communication, Decision-Making/Prioritizing, Adaptability, Continuous Learning

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Orientation and training will take place.
Working Conditions: Indoor within our Active Living Centre or virtually.

Duration: 4 - 6 months

Based on project needs, number of clients referred and varies depending on whether the VLA is meeting with clients virtually or in person.
