Impact Statement Volunteers walk alongside those in our community who need food, housing, community resources or addiction treatment. Volunteers are vital in ensuring that everyone can belong and thrive.

Description We are looking for volunteers to support people in the community with access to food. Our Emergency Food Hamper Program provides emergency support to people in the community who are living on a low income. Over 100 families a day access this program and we require volunteers to pack the food hampers that families receive. We take an individualized approach with each family to ensure that the food we provide meets their needs. This is a weekly opportunity, available only on weekdays.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Onsite training will be provided Working Conditions: Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months Weekday - Daytime Shifts are 9:30-12:30 and 12:30-4:30pm; Monday to Friday
