Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those living in our community with Alzheimer's or other dementias, and their care partners, through support, information, advocacy, education and promotion of research.

You believe in supporting individuals living with dementia and their care partners to live their best day.

As a Board Member with Alzheimer Society Waterloo Wellington, you will bring your skills, expertise, and perspective to our collective as we lead into the future.

As stewards of the organization, our Board operates under a policy governance model with a commitment to the financial and social well-being of the organization and its mission.

The Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington welcomes interested applicants to apply including individuals living with dementia or a care partner.

Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment

Duration: 1 year or more
Weekday - Evening
Currently, due to COVID, the Board of Directors meets via ZOOM on the third Wednesday of each month from 6 pm to 9 pm
