   About the Position

Impact Statement
TLG needs your help! 34% of people living in our community struggle with reading information, filling out forms and numeracy. Many live in poverty, trying to support families on minimum wages & with a highly technical world. Help us make a difference by helping people move from Poverty to Possibilities!

Do you want to volunteer from home? Do you want to feel the rewards that come from helping others reach their goals from the comfort of your living room? Do you want to encourage, educate and change the lives of others during quarantine?

If you consider yourself an inspiring mentor and want to share your skills and experience in order to help other adults, we have the position for you.

We are looking for volunteers to provide one-to-one tutoring to adults who want to improve their reading, writing, math and other essential skills to enrich their life at home, work and at school.

Across our region, we are all experiencing a period of lockdown in the light of COVID-19 pandemic. In an effort to keep our learners and volunteers connected and to enable the continuous process of learning TLG is changing the delivery of services making use of digital technology.
