The Mennonite Coalition for Refugee Support is a community-based organization that inspires hope and helps to create a welcoming, compassionate and inclusive Waterloo Region for refugee claimants. MCRS supports refugees through their claim process, provides settlement support, builds communities of mutual support and works to educate and encourage community mobilization, helping to facilitate a positive transition for refugee claimants in the community.
Description
Translation/Interpretation volunteers support client claims by translating crucial documents and organizational resources, preparing templates of official documents, and/or interpreting spoken language in client meetings. MCRS is seeking a volunteer who has an excellent command of and fluency in both Spanish and English.
Training Details
Must attend a general MCRS volunteer orientation. Specified training to follow.

You will work at the MCRS main office.
