Impact Statement Providing a variety of recreational, environmental and cultural activities in addition to social support services.

Description List Shopper volunteers: - Assist older adults or an adult with a disability by shopping for their groceries, delivering to their home then help put the groceries away.
List Shopper volunteers require good decision-making and communication skills, flexibility, patience and their own reliable vehicle with minimum 1 million liability insurance and valid MTO G driver's license to complete the shopping in a timely manner. Must be age 21 or older. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Volunteer orientation and client/volunteer introductions are provided by Waterloo Home Support Services Staff. Weekday availability for the application interview and for the orientation and client match-up meeting are required. Working Conditions: Transportation: Car required

Time Commitment
Duration: 7 - 12 months Weekday - Daytime Volunteers are needed for one to two hours per week during weekday morning or afternoon between 9am and 4pm. A minimum 8 month commitment is preferred.
