   About the Position

Impact Statement
Volunteers are a valuable resource, contributing unique talents, skills, and knowledge to the many facets of the operations at The Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery. Volunteers assist with most aspects of the Gallery, playing an integral role in our operations.

The Gallery offers a pleasant and enriching environment; sharing, learning, and contributing to the community; developing new skills; flexible hours and a discount on purchases in the Gallery Shop.

Assisting with archiving and organizing our records/publications. This is a position that will be done in our archival room on the second floor of the Gallery. This position does not require weekly attendance, but rather it can be done around the volunteer's scheduling needs. Clerical and organizational skills are an asset!

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Training with locating and organizing files in our archival system, training for categorizing files for ease of finding, and the creation of finding aids and filing systems. Will work closely with the curatorial team.
Working Conditions: Office work at a desk with a computer and various filing systems.
Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment

Duration: 4 - 6 months
Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening
