Garden Mentors

Nurture Youth-Led Gardens

Youth in Food Systems

   About the Position

Description
Hello! Youth in Food Systems and Nurture are recruiting adult Garden Mentor Volunteers from the community to support our youth teams over the summer break.

This volunteer position requires offering 2 hours per week in the garden throughout July & August. We welcome individuals or teams to apply!

Volunteers are not responsible for the success of the garden (the youth are!), but as a Garden Mentor you would be a vital support to the youth team, helping answer questions, sparking curiosity and suggesting weekly tasks. We have a number of positions filled already, and we are still seeking volunteers for the following schools:

Floradale P.S.
Glencairn P.S.
Prueter P.S.
