Description
We are seeking a dedicated basketball trainer to join our team at iHelp International, focusing on youth aged 12 to 25. As a basketball trainer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality coaching and mentorship to aspiring athletes within our community. Your primary duties will include designing and leading basketball training sessions, developing individualized skill-building plans for participants, and fostering a positive and inclusive training environment. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in instilling important values such as teamwork, discipline, and resilience through your coaching approach. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in basketball coaching or training, a passion for youth development, and strong communication and leadership skills. If you are enthusiastic about making a meaningful impact on the lives of young athletes and helping them reach their full potential, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: The Executive Director will meet with you and provide you with more information on the expectations of this group and answer any questions you may have.
Working Conditions: The basketball training takes place in Victoria Hills Community Centre, on Thursdays, 4:00 – 6:00 pm.
It is a drop-in program, open to all community members. However, we will have a registration form and the new members need to fill before joining the training.
The trainer is expected to be on time and start the training at 4:00 pm.
Transportation: On a bus route


Time Commitment

Duration: 3 months or less
Weekday - Daytime
4:00 – 6:00 pm, on Thursdays
