Description
The Telephone Reassurance program provides daily phone calls in the mornings for security and social reasons to seniors and adults with different abilities who live alone. Daily contact decreases the risks and anxiety associated with living alone.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: All volunteers will receive agency wide and program specific training before their first shift. The Program Coordinator is available to discuss concerns and to provide ongoing support as needed.
Community Support Connections offers regular volunteer educational workshops on various topics. All volunteers are notified of upcoming sessions.
Working Conditions: Office Setting.
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Accessible work space
Transportation: Car required

Duration: 7 - 12 months
Weekday - Daytime
Thursdays, once a month from 9:00am to 11:00am
