Volunteers help break down the barriers to full participation of new Canadians in the Kitchener Waterloo community and surrounding areas.

Description
The KW Multicultural Festival provides volunteers with a fun, outdoor volunteer experience. But, it is hard work! You will be helping the thousands of people who visit the festival, cleaning, lifting, walking, answering questions, controlling traffic, helping with stage coordination, and many more things that are needed at large outdoor festivals.
We are looking for approximately 60 volunteers to work one 4-hour shift on Friday, June 23rd, Saturday, June 24th, or Sunday, June 25th, 2023. Volunteers who work on Saturday and Sunday will receive a food voucher after a 4-hour shift and a Festival t-shirt.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: We offer a mandatory, in-person volunteer orientation session.
Working Conditions: Outdoors in the elements, and with the general public. Volunteers should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be comfortable standing/walking for 4 hours.
