   About the Position

Impact Statement
By joining our Youth in Food Systems team, you can learn about and explore food systems while being a part of a group that shapes the future of the program and policies for youth in the future while learning and empowering yourselves and group members to be involved with our local food systems.

Description
The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a fun and structured way for youth to share their opinions and perspectives on our programming, policies, and strategic direction. Our Council members will also be able to participate in workshops about food systems and leadership, and will work together to build on self-selected skills.

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Leadership training and onboarding will be provided by the organization staff when Council has been selected.

Duration: 4 - 6 months

End Date:2023-06-30
Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening
Over 6 months, bi-weekly meetings will take place, meeting times will be set by Council when all members are selected.
