Description
Variety of positions available to help those, who are in need:

Volunteers are needed to help set up for our lunch meal service.
Volunteer's will be helping set up the dining area, setting up tables and chairs, preparing the serving stations, making sandwiches, serving coffee & treats and helping to lift or unload supplies for the volunteer cooks prior to the meal.
Assisting in the kitchen, dishes, sweeping and mopping floors and general cleanup

Ideal for: An Individual
Age: 16+

Skill(s): Communicate in Plain Language, Verbal Communication, Adaptability, Respect, Maintaining Equipment


Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Training will be provided on-site.
Working Conditions: Working Indoors.
May need to lift up to 20-25KG (35-45lbs).
Frequent stair climbing.

Transportation: On a bus route


Time Commitment

Duration: 7 - 12 months
Weekday - Daytime
We operate 3 x MORNINGS a week serving a hot lunch
Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays from 8:00-1:30pm (or if preferred)
partial shifts 8-12pm or 10:30-1:30pm Looking to cover at least 1 shift per week.
