Impact Statement By joining our Youth in Food Systems team, you can learn about and explore food systems while creating content for empowering and inspiring your peers to do the same.

Description Our social media is one of our primary communication platforms, and we’re looking for youth interested in helping us to grow it with fun, relevant, and informational content! You will be able to assist with our social media pages by designing graphics, writing captions, sharing ideas, and conducting research.
The purpose? Learn about and communicate important and relevant food systems knowledge with your peers, in an effort to increase food literacy and inspire sustainability and equity in Canadian food!
Requirements: Creative abilities, the ability to use online editing programs (Canva), and ability to create graphics on a self-selected schedule

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Will be taught how to create individual posts related to food and sustainability, for all of our social media platforms! Time Commitment
Duration: 3 months or less Anytime Time commitment: 3 month minimum, 2+ post designs / month
Flexible, self-selected schedule. Volunteers have access to our social media calendar and are able to sign up for dates.
