Description Volunteer cashiers are needed to assist customers at Thrift on Kent by:
- processing cash and debit/credit payments and - packaging purchases - working quickly and accurately with multiple tasks - treating customers with patience and respect
Volunteers must be friendly, trustworthy with money, and competent in the English language.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: In-house training and job shadowing provided, at no cost to volunteer. Working Conditions: Volunteers are working in a fast paced environment and interacting with diverse customers. Position requires standing the majority of time and moderate lifting (max. 20 lbs) Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 7 - 12 months Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Daytime 4 hour shifts weekly. Mondays from 9:30 to 1:00 or 1:00 to 5:00
