Description
Lisaard House Hospice is looking for volunteers to support our Reception Desk. Volunteer tasks will include:
Opening door, screening, and greeting visitors to Innisfree House;
Answering telephone in professional manner;
Transferring calls;
Accepting donations.
In addition, the Reception Volunteers may be asked to assist with general clerical duties.
Criminal Record and Judicial Matters check and Covid-19 Vaccination is mandatory.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: A 10-hour training class and orientation to position required and provided upon successful acceptance. Volunteers must complete Health and Safety training annually.
Working Conditions: Sitting at a desk;
Greeting visitors.
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space
Transportation: Not on a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 1 year or more
Weekend - Daytime
Shifts vary in frequency - monthly, bi-weekly or weekly. Current openings include Tuesdays 3-6, Saturdays 9-12 and 3-6, and Sundays 3-6.
