Description
At our Kitchener location, you will assist staff with light meal prep (supervised), dishes, and maintaining kitchen areas to Public Health standards. Volunteers must demonstrate a knowledge and enjoyment of being in a kitchen, proper hygiene and cleaning practices, and strong oral communication skills.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: A 10-hour training class and orientation to position required and provided upon successful acceptance. Criminal Record and Judicial Matters check is mandatory. Volunteers must complete some training annually.
Working Conditions: Standing for up to 4 hours; kitchen environment.
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space
Transportation: On a bus route

Duration: 1 year or more
Weekday - Daytime
Currently looking for 3 volunteers, one per day to cover a shift from 10 am to 1 pm on either Wednesday, Thursday or Friday
