Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Centre

   About the Position

Impact Statement
The KW Multicultural Centre exists to foster the diversity which exists in this community. Volunteers help to break down barriers to full participation of immigrants and refugees in the Kitchener-Waterloo community and surrounding areas.

Description
Volunteers support immigrants and refugees in improving their skills in English, especially conversational skills for everyday living in Canada. Our volunteers come from a wide variety of backgrounds, and play a major role in helping their learners feel comfortable in their second language, and in Canada in general.
