   About the Position

Impact Statement
The LINK Picnic Festival and Carnival Costume Parade is an African and Caribbean Cultural Diaspora event including food, art, music and activities to engage the whole family. Your support helps us raise awareness of these cultures, reduce barriers to cultural harmony and collaboration, and link people up through the Arts. Join us for our second virtual festival. The date is August 21-22, 2021.

Description
Looking for a volunteer to help promote the LINK Picnic Festival as well as other marketing events leading up the festival. Experience using social media, particularly from a marketing perspective, is needed.


Position Qualifications

Ideal for: An Individual, A Group
Age: 18+


Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Information will be provided by the event coordinator.
Working Conditions: Flexible both indoor and outdoor. Can work virtually.
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Support volunteers with special needs, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers


Time Commitment

Duration: 4 - 6 months
