Impact Statement A Volunteer is a member of our team who serves without salary under staff supervision and direction. Service is of a non-professional nature that adds an important ingredient to healthcare - compassion for people. It improves the service and lightens the burden, allowing the clinical staff more time for care of residents. A volunteer has the time and opportunity to create an atmosphere of friendliness and good will.

Description Provide fresh made cookies; squares; muffins; cupcakes, etc. for residents, visitors, staff and volunteers. Must be familiar and comfortable working in a kitchen environment.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: A 10-hour training class and orientation to kitchen required and provided upon successful acceptance. Police Records check is mandatory. Working Conditions: Standing for several hours; working in kitchen environment; bending and lifting necessary. Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space Transportation: Car required

Time Commitment
Duration: 7 - 12 months Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Daytime, Weekend - Evening We are currently looking for baking volunteers on weekdays and weekends 8-10 and 3-5 pm. Weekly, bi-weekly Monthly shifts available.
