Description
Do you have one evening a month to volunteer for your community and have fun too?
As a Charitable Gaming Centre Volunteer you would circulate the gaming floor to provide customer service and assistance during the Bingo, including welcoming guests as they arrive and thanking guests as they depart.
Other duties include:
• Flag game winners for identification by staff to assist with the verification process and to assist with “calling back” cards.
• Assist with keeping the gaming environment clean
• Be knowledgeable on Charitable Bingo and how the funds earned in the gaming centre are used by the Preston Heights Community Group.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Volunteers are required to complete online training and job shadow during a session at the Charitable Gaming Centre in Cambridge. The training is free and the details surrounding the job shadowing will be provided.
Working Conditions: Volunteering takes places indoors, at the Charitable Gaming Centre in Cambridge.
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space
Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 7 - 12 months
Weekday - Evening
The Preston Heights Community Group provides Bingo volunteers for 11 assignments per year, on Wednesday or Thursday evenings. We require 2 volunteers per assignment from 6:15pm to 9:00pm.
