   About the Position

Description
Volunteer needed to:
- Provide delivery of meals to clients as per the order given on the route sheets.
- Carry out brief security check and provide social contact to clients.
- Report any undelivered meals or absent clients to the office.
- Remain in contact with staff supervisor regarding your status and any concerns you may have about clients.
- Treat all information regarding clients on your route with complete confidentiality.
-Follow all Covid-19 protocols including wearing a face covering, maintaining physical distance of 6 feet or more and the use of hand sanitizer during your route.

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Orientation & Training is provided - An in-car training with a trained volunteer driver is provided prior to delivery on your own (this is suspended due to the pandemic). We currently offer online training/education to prepare you for your role with us.

Training on the job & on-going

Prior to start, volunteers will review handbook, policies and procedures and have in-car training with a trained volunteer driver. Yearly refresher training is mandatory. On-site staff support is provided on an ongoing basis.
Working Conditions: Nice to share this job with a family member who can help drive or deliver - to reduce the parking issues.

Time Commitment

Duration: 3 months or less
Weekday - Daytime
11am-1pm Monday through Friday
