Description The Volunteer Office Administration Assistant (VOAA) in this organization is crucial in providing administrative support to the staff members and ensuring the smooth running of the Centre. The VOAA will have a variety of responsibilities, including managing phone calls and correspondence, organizing paperwork, and maintaining filing systems, assisting with scheduling, and meeting room management, and maintaining a welcoming environment for visitors. Depending on the needs of the Centre, the VOAA may also be responsible for donation and donor management, including processing donations, managing donor information, and supporting fundraising efforts.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Orientation and training will be provided. Prior training and experience in reception, office management, data management, facility management, and computer troubleshooting would be greatly valued. Working Conditions: This role will be located in-person at the main office reception desk, therefore there will be extensive time spent sitting and computer facing. The position will report to the Executive Director, under guidance of the Office Administrator. Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months Weekday - Daytime We require an individual who can commit to a regular schedule between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Exact days and hours of commitment will be further discussed and determined upon intake. At least 1-2 days a week. When completing the Volunteer Application Form, please make sure to include your availability.
