Impact Statement
This is a hands on opportunity to contribute to relief and development work around the world through supporting the system of Relief Aid donations from when they enter the warehouse through to their shipment to places of need.
MCC is a charitable organization that partners with churches and community organizations worldwide to walk with people who are disadvantaged. MCC supports activities that provide emergency assistance, reduce poverty, and promote healthy communities, sustainable living and alternatives to violence. As an internationally recognized NGO, MCC currently serves in 45 countries.

Description
- Receiving donations and recording them
- Packing kits into boxes, and loading on pallets
- Baling comforters
- Preparing pallets for shipment
- General maintenance of the building

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Position specific orientation will be provided.
Job specific training and skills development.
Job shadowing and training meetings offered as available.
Policy and procedure manual available at all times.
Volunteer liability coverage for all volunteers.
Working Conditions: Work is conducted in a clean safe warehouse like setting with staff and volunteers. Ability to lift 40kg an asset. Valid or expired forklift license also an asset.
