   About the Position

Impact Statement
The Salvation Army exists to share the love of Jesus Christ, meet human needs and be a transforming influence in the communities of our world.

Seeking person experienced in sewing interested in assisting a group of community folks in learning and improving the skills of sewing. Supplies are provided. You will be working with all skill levels, working on practical projects.

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: An orientation and interview will take place prior to the program.
Working Conditions:
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Support volunteers with special needs, Accessible work space, Support Newcomers
Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment

Duration: 7 - 12 months
Weekday - Daytime
Program usually runs for three hour sessions once weekly over several weeks.
