   About the Position

Carizon is a multi-service community organization committed to improving the future of individuals and families through supportive, therapeutic and preventative programs.

Description
Please note, this program takes place outside and volunteers are to meet at Erb West Community Centre to help supervise during the walk to Keatsway P.S. (weather permitting). Does not run during winter months.

Supervising children during the walk to Keatsway P.S. from the centre and return trip
Facilitate and participate in sports, playing board games & park activities outdoors, with youth 6-11 years of age
Ensure safety of participants at all times
Assist with any set-up and clean-up

Mask must be worn outside during activities
Previous work with youth is an asset
Reliable, weekly commitment required, good communication skills
Must inform program facilitator if absent

Ideal for: An Individual
Age: 18+
COVID-19 Vactionation Required: Yes


Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: On-the-job orientation; program facilitator present.
Working Conditions: Outdoors; will not run during winter months.

Accessibility: Support Newcomers


Time Commitment

Duration: 3 months or less
Weekday - Evening
Thursdays, 6:00-8:30 pm
Volunteers are to meet at Erb West Community Centre
Outdoors - weather permitting
