Description We are looking for friendly, outgoing individuals to provide support at our Welcome Centre.
Volunteer responsibilities include: greeting visitors and welcoming them to our agency, answering and directing in person and phone inquiries, as well as providing general support to our Administration team. Various clerical activities may include tasks such as preparing mailing or tallying receipts.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Position specific training offered by the organization. Because our students and volunteers will be working with a vulnerable population you will be required to provide 2 references and a Police volunteer Sector Check. Working Conditions: Office setting. Creating a welcoming environment for visitors. Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Support volunteers with special needs, Accessible work space Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months Weekday - Daytime Available shifts: Monday noon to 4:00, Tuesday noon to 4:00, Thursday 9:00 - noon, Friday 9:00 - 1:00.
