   About the Position

Impact Statement
The LINK Picnic Festival and Carnival Costume Parade is an African and Caribbean Cultural Diaspora event including food, art, music and activities to engage the whole family. Your support helps us raise awareness of these cultures, reduce barriers to cultural harmony and collaboration, and link people up through the Arts. Join us for our second virtual festival. The date is August 21-22, 2021.

We need a skillful volunteer to create and implement a marketing strategy, help arrange promotional opportunities, assist in writing reports and analyzing data. Useful skills include: writing, communication, working with and managing others, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, job task planning and organization, and knowledge of social media.

Position Qualifications

Ideal for: An Individual
Age: 19+ English Proficiency, Specialized Training, Work Without Supervision

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Orientation to position and organization will be provided by the event coordinator.
Working Conditions: Flexible.
Accessibility: Designated accessible parking space, Support volunteers with special needs, Support Newcomers

Time Commitment

Duration: 4 - 6 months
Should be available to start immediately! Festival date is August 21-22, 2021.
