Description
Lisaard House Hospice. at 990 Speedsville Rd in Cambridge, is looking for volunteers to support our Reception Desk. Volunteer tasks will include:
Opening door, screening, and greeting visitors to Innisfree House;
Answering telephone in professional manner;
Transferring calls;
Accepting donations.
In addition, the Reception Volunteers may be asked to assist with general clerical duties.
Vulnerable Sector Check and Two Covid-19 Vaccinations are required.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: A 10-hour training class and orientation to position required and provided upon successful acceptance. Volunteers must complete Health and Safety training annually.
Working Conditions: Sitting at a desk; Greeting visitors, answering calls, and general reception tasks.
Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space
Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 1 year or more
Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Daytime, Weekend - Evening
Volunteer Applicants must be able to cover one of the following shifts on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, upon successful completion of all onboarding and training requirements. Current openings are Tuesday, Wednesday or Fridays 3-6 pm, every other Saturday 3-6, Sundays 9-12 and 3-6.
