Description Volunteers will assist Cooks and Dietary Aides with meal preparation, serving, general kitchen clean-up, put away food supplies, help with recycling and dishwashing in a shelter for women who are experiencing homelessness.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Orientation to the kitchen, equipment, health and safety procedures and practices. Working Conditions: Closed-toe, non-slip shoes are required. Please note that there is no parking available at this location. If you prefer to have no contact with clients then duties will reflect your preferences. Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Support Newcomers Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months Weekday - Daytime, Weekend - Daytime shifts are 2-4 hours in lengh anytime between 10 am to 6:30 pm seven days a week
