   About the Position

Impact Statement
Volunteer Tutors can make a difference with just a few hours a week.

We are seeking volunteers who can tutor children/youth or be a homework helper in Kitchener/Cambridge. Subjects include Math - primary and intermediate, English and other subjects as needed.

Volunteers must have some tutoring experience, be patient, and able to develop a good rapport with children/youth. Proficiency in math and English is required.

Tutoring will be online during pandemic.

Age: 18+ English Proficiency, Confidentiality

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Please contact us for the next pre-service training dates. Training will take place online during the pandemic.
Working Conditions: Access to a vehicle is not mandatory but having access to a vehicle may make matching more likely depending on location of client.

Time Commitment

Duration: 7 - 12 months
Available to tutor for the whole school year (Sept to end of June). 1 to 2 hours per week during the school year.
