Description Are you a person who likes to have fun, play games, and help others? Our volunteers welcome participants when they arrive, help with coats, serve snacks and meals, and facilitate games and activities (Euchre, crokinole, bingo, crafts, etc.). We are flexible with volunteers who can help for both half days and full days. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to make a difference in a senior’s life.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Orientation, direction, and support are provided on-site by staff and experienced volunteers. Working Conditions: Working directly with clients and staff. COVID 19 Vaccination is strongly recommended for volunteers.
A wellness screening is also required prior to engaging with clients. Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance, Wheelchair accessible washroom, Designated accessible parking space, Accessible work space Transportation: On a bus route

Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months Weekday - Daytime Weekdays between the hours of 10am and 2pm. Variable hours are possible to support morning only or afternoon only.
Looking specifically for support on Tuesdays, Thursdays mainly. Other days may be open.
