Impact Statement One of the important ways to assist in meeting the physical and social needs of our residents is by assisting in the delivery of our physiotherapy and restorative care programs. Become part of our exercise team!

Description Assist staff in taking residents for walks inside or outdoors when the weather permits, and assist residents with exercises on a one-to-one basis under direction/training by one of our staff.
Good communication skills and a knowledge of kinesiology would be helpful.

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Training will be provided during the sessions and ongoing support is provided by the Physiotherapy Assistant or Restorative Care staff. Staff support is always available. Working Conditions: Parkwood is a wheelchair and scooter-accessible facility. If you require any accommodation to assist you please let us know. Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months Weekday - Daytime, Weekend - Daytime Please call to find out if we have a time slot available that fits your schedule. Shifts are 2 to 3 hours per session, any day between 9:00am to 12:00pm, or 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
