We are looking for organized and reliable individuals who work well independently and in a team environment to take on any on-site operational tasks at Dog Friendly KW events and behind the scenes support to operate a growing non-profit organization.
Must love dogs & want to support us in building the Dog Friendly KW community.

Description
The Volunteer Event & Special Projects Logistic Coordinators play a crucial role in the success of pre and post-event logistics.
Responsibilities:
Book, pick up, and drive a 15ft+ Uhaul to transport equipment to and from pop-ups and events.
Organize and prepare items in the Dog Friendly KW storage unit in Kitchener for events and projects.
Coordinate and support to load and unload the U-Haul truck at the storage unit and on-site at events *additional volunteer support will be provided.
Support set-up and tear-down for Dog Friendly KW events and pop-ups.
Inventory management of the storage unit.
Supporting item coordination for events and special projects
Picking up orders and items that are needed for special projects and events

Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: Training and direction will be provided in advance of pop-ups and events to ensure individuals have an understanding of the setup and teardown requirements specific to each event.
Working Conditions:
Transportation: Car required

Time Commitment
Duration: 4 - 6 months
Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening, Weekend - Evening
10-20 hours per month (varies widely depending on scheduled events)
