   About the Position

Impact Statement
The Royal Medieval Faire is a magical day where the medieval period comes alive in the 21st century. The day is full of games, medieval vendors and performers, including dramatic productions, musicians and swordplay. Every year, the Faire relies on dedicated volunteers to bring the festival alive and attract thousands of patrons for the annual event.

We currently have volunteer opportunities to join the Faire team as a Games Coordinator Assistant. The Games Coordinator Assistant will support the Games Coordinator’s efforts to set-up, monitor and tear down the games offered during the Royal Medieval Faire (RMF).

Description
Responsibilities
- Follows the Faire’s policies and procedures
- Set up and tear down games
- Support and monitor the games throughout the day, ensuring required materials are available and placed in appropriate locations
- Assist volunteers with any games related questions
- Additional tasks as assigned by the Games Coordinator

Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and independently
- Outstanding organizational skills with superior attention to detail
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities with limited supervision

Training / Work Condtions

Training Details: Orientation, training and support provided by a Board Member and team.

Working Conditions: - The time commitment is roughly 1 – 5 hours prior to the Faire (primarily for orientation and training)
- Day of the Faire, Saturday, September 21st from 9am – 9pm.

Transportation: Car required
