The Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery
The Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery celebrates contemporary ceramic and glass artists. Located in Waterloo, the Gallery is a not-for-profit institution that collects, exhibits, explores, promotes, and preserves work by Canadian artists and makers in clay, glass, and vitreous enameling. Changing exhibitions celebrate and support diverse artists from across Canada working in these mediums and address current and relevant issues. The Gallery's public programs engage, educate, and inspire, and are accessible to all. An essential organization within the Canadian cultural landscape, the Gallery is a site of leadership that influences craft, design, and fine art communities. The Gallery presents a dynamic series of exhibitions, ever-changing hands-on programs, multiple opportunities for learning and provides supportive education programs to people across the region. Using the exhibitions as a starting point, Gallery program participants are encouraged to develop their appreciation of art and their art vocabulary as well as cultivate confidence in their interpretation of contemporary artworks.
