Description Independent Living Waterloo Region is looking for volunteers to join its Board of Directors.
Board members are expected to: • Understand financial statements and fulfill fiduciary responsibilities. • Attend six-eight meetings annually plus committee work • Represent ILWR in the community • Fulfill a 3-year term, renewable twice
We are seeking applicants with expertise in: • Governance • Informatics/ technology • Government relations • Legal • Lived experience of disability
