Description The Grand River Accessibility Advisory Committee (GRAAC) is a cross-disability municipal advisory committee seeking new members with disability knowledge and/or lived disability experience. GRAAC provides vision and advice to 7 municipalities regarding the identification, prevention, and removal of barriers to accessibility. GRAAC meets monthly (Sept-June). We are recruiting for vacancies for the City of Waterloo, Townships of Wellesley, Wilmot, Woolwich, and North Dumfries. Training / Work Condtions
Training Details: New members committee orientation training in January (start of role). Training and orientation provided by staff.
Working Conditions: Currently virtual meetings 1x month (10 meetings a year). Indoors, use of computer. Accommodations available upon request.

Time Commitment
Duration: 1 year or more Weekday - Daytime Weekday – daytime (1x month, 10 months year (no July/Aug)
