Impact Statement Kitchener Public Library volunteers enhance library services in our community and make a difference every day!

Description Youth Postcards volunteers create content (visual art) which are shared with Pioneer Park library customers in order to create connections between teens and library customers.
Volunteers will be given 2 hours per month for their submission/participation, counting towards high school community involvement requirements.
WHAT YOU WILL DO - Submit one piece of visual art. - Content is submitted to the Division Manager, Pioneer Park Library via e-mail who then curates the content to be shared - Visual art is expected to be appropriate for all audiences
WHAT YOU BRING - Access to a computer to share emails and submissions - An interest and strong ability in visual art - 14-18 years - Screening Requirement: Successful applicants will be emailed and asked to submit a portfolio of one piece of visual art that displays their strength in their preferred medium. Acceptance into the volunteer program is based on the portfolio submission.
