From Behind the Mask
Volunteer Action Centre Waterloo Region

Impact Statement Volunteers are welcome to become a part of this healing, art-based project. Family, corporate groups and teams of all kinds can contribute to help us prepare for the launch of the complete project before May.
From Behind the Mask is a community quilt being designed with forms of a mask that people can create with a personal message about this past year.

Description Roles are available for all types of skillsets and abilities. This position is for helping spread project awareness by putting up posters in the Tri-city area. Volunteers will call local businesses with street-level windowfronts to ask if they will put a project poster in the window. Once a list is generated, the volunteer will be paid mileage to drive and deliver posters to the participating businesses. Volunteers will receive a box of posters and clear instructions.
Volunteers can assist with each stage of this ever-growing project. This is an opportunity to come together - while apart - and make something that will remain as a memorial, acknowledge inequality, and act as a starting point for healing. Contact us if you have an interest.
